Studio Calico June Kit- Galileo

This fun Studio Calico Kit had an amazing mix of black and white with bright colors. What's better then that? It's probably been my favorite kit all year. I only got the Project Life Kit this month and adored it. The Studio Calico Project Life Kit is the best. I have gotten it for almost 2 years now! Isn't that nuts? You can also use this kit for planners, scrapbook pages and so much more. I devour it every month.

Summer

This is my favorite layout I made with this kit. I wanted this Project Life spread to be all about color. I was documenting the last days of school and start of summer and we were so excited about it. I love the neon colors, it fit this week perfectly.

Here's a closer look at each page.

My daughter has a cute shirt that says, "Party like a Pineapple" and it kind of became our theme for the summer. She has it on in the top right picture above. I had to high light it on a fun card. We are so excited for summer!

I also really wanted to show that you can use the Project Life Kit to make regular layouts as well. I loved the ice cream cone cards and wanted to display them on a fun summery page. I also used the 4 x 6 paper pack to add some layering on the right.

Sweet Summer Time

This is a pretty Project Life spread I did using some of the black and white cards from the kit. I also aded in a pop of pink from my Heidi Swapp Favorite Things Project Life Core Kit that I bought to use for the whole year. I add some of it in here and there through out my layout to help it feel cohesive. This layout is from the week of mother's day. We got a ton of snow. It was crazy.

Happy Mother's Day

These were some of my favorite cards from the kit. Aren't then stunning?

I used one for a title card here, and was so happy they had more in the 4 x 6 paper pad. I love getting all the patterns in that pad. It's awesome.

Here's one more Project Life Spread of some of our fun summer memories. We played basketball, painted, and kept it real by partying like a pineapple! ;)

How's your summer been?
