Leather Bracelets

So the latest class I have taken from the amazing Christy Tomlinson is her Belt Bracelet Workshop. She is a fabulous teacher and it was a great class. It's always fun to learn something new and this is totally different then anything I've ever done before. It's not hard to do, just expensive to get all the supplies. I love the positive messages on these amazing bracelets. I also am a big fan of jewelry and lately have been into stacking bracelets, so these belt bracelets are perfect. They have been fun to wear and fun to make.

I made a whole bunch of them to give to teachers for our Fabulous Friday craft night. Women from our church got together and taught different crafting classes. It was really fun and big success. I think the teachers were happy to get a thank you that was homemade and unique.

I wanted to include phrases that would be uplifting.

I love how these simple bracelets are a fun pop of color to your outfit and a great reminder to find the good.

This one is my favorite. I wear it almost everyday. I'm a huge fan of black and white. I love that's it a remind to find the beauty in life everyday

Lydia's First Birthday

I have been having so much fun scrapbooking lately. I used the Studio Calico Kit from February called Sugar Rush to put together these layouts. I loved the images in this collection, like the cake and ice cream cone. It just called for a party! These are also my favorite colors, which made it even more fun! I love pink, turquoise and gold.

I knew I wanted to highlight this fun page of my three little girls, so I used only 1 photo on this layout and lots of fun embellishments.

Then I included some extra photos in this page protector from Project Life. They have page protectors like this in all different sizes. This is great to add in a few more pictures of a fun event.

This is the back side of that fun page protector and this is how it will sit in my album.

I wanted to do another layout with this same picture for my daughters album. So here is another take on the same idea.

I totally love this layout below. I made it for my daughter's album and loved the way it looks like a party. The title is "wild thing I think I luv ya." This page totally makes me smile.

Next I went with a more linear style for these fun pictures of my daughter eating some cake.

So cute!!

This CRAZY busy BEAUTIFUL Life

Hey guys, it's been crazy around here. How about you? Why do I always think when the kids are back in school I'll have more time to do things. lol. I always seem to think things might ease up just around the bend, but I always seem to cram too much in. There are always new challenges and opportunities and I love taking advantage of every opportunity that I get. Sometimes being so ambitious leaves me very exhausted. It also gives me a lot of joy. I'm grateful that I'm willing to tackle challenges, set goals and try lots of new things. It's fun and fulfilling and rewarding. Joy doesn't come from the absence of work but in accomplishing things. I find that my greatest joys come in the little moments. I have to remember to not be too busy or all those little moments will be missed.

Moments like sitting and talking to my daughter after school while she eats a snack. Reading a book to my toddler. The satisfaction of a clean house, even if it's just for a moment.

Moments like kissing my husband when he comes from work or really listening to him talk about his day. I feel peace and joy when my children are sweet to each other. It makes all the hard work worth it.

I love going for a family walk and stopping to pick some flowers. Enjoying the moment while my daughter sings a song and gives me a smile.

Find joy in the little things. It's the little things, they really are the big things and make it all worth it.
